From a childhood love for baking to Bengaluru's favourite home bakery
It started with my grandmother's kitchen in Mysuru. The smell of cardamom, the sound of a mixer, the joy of watching a flat batter rise into something beautiful β I grew up believing that food made with care tastes different. Because it does.
I moved to Bengaluru in 2018 and started baking for friends. A birthday cake here, brownies there. When a colleague asked me to make her daughter's first birthday cake β and cried when she saw it β I knew this was more than a hobby.
Iyengar Bakes started officially in 2021. Every product is still made in my home kitchen, by hand, to order. No preservatives. No factory shortcuts. Just fresh ingredients, trusted recipes, and the same care from day one.
